- First Aid at Work Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981
- Guidance on Regulations (L74)
- Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines
- First Aid at Work Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1982 (Northern Ireland).
- Delivered, assessed and quality assured in accordance with Assessment Principles for Regulated First Aid Qualifications.

Emergency first aid in the workplace
- Role and responsibilities of a first aider
- Incident assessment
- First aid to an unresponsive casualty
- Management of a choking casualty
- A casualty with major bleeding
- A casualty suffering from shock
- Dealing with minor injuries and illness
