Overseas Nursing OSCE Preparation Course
NHS Trusts and Private section are under severe pressure to upskill there workforce. One of the major initiatives is to recruit overseas nurses. This poses numerous strategic and training challenges, with some organisations opting to outsource their training.
Medico Training Solutions have experienced trainers with specialist knowledge of the NMC Test of competence requirements. We have have developed and refined an OSCE preparation programme that we deliver to organisations.
The OSCE preparation training programme is led and supported by a team of experienced and dedicated trainers. With a 100% pass rate of the Test of Competence. Our leader trainer has trained over 900 nurses.

Changes to Forestry Commission policy recommend those who work in the Forestry industry participate in training which includes additional topics relevant to the risks and nature of their work.
The Forestry Commission recommends topics including:
- Severe bleeding (i.e. chainsaw injury)
- Crush injury
- Hypothermia
- Lyme Disease
It must be noted that these topics are to be covered in addition to the standard syllabus.
All of our faculty have extensive experience dealing with major bleeding both in civilian and military environments. Through our STOP THE BLEED course, you’ll gain the ability to recognise life-threatening bleeding and intervene effectively. The person next to a bleeding victim may be the one who is most likely to save him or her. Take the course and become empowered to make a life or death difference when a bleeding emergency occurs.
Mental Health Support
Working in demanding, remote, challenging environments understandably can impact the mental health and wellbeing of employees overtime. We can offer a range of accredited Mental Health Awareness courses to support and enhance the mental health of your team from team leader to manager level.
Given our amassed experience, we have understandably been involved in a range of incidents that have affected personnel, business output, and resilience. We understand working in high-pressure environments that sometimes things can and do, go wrong. We are proud to offer post-incident management and root cause analysis support. By utilising Human Factors science, we can facilitate non-blame incident investigation and help you capture the rich learning that will emerge to further enhance individual resilience across your business.
